Do I need to give TagSpread my marketplace passwords?
No. For Depop, Vinted, Mercari and Poshmark the Chrome extension uses the accounts you're already logged in to. eBay connects through eBay's own sign-in page, so you never type your eBay password into TagSpread. We don't see or store any marketplace password.
Does my computer need to stay on?
For Depop, Vinted, Mercari and Poshmark, yes. That work happens inside your Chrome, so it runs while your computer is on and Chrome is open, and catches up as soon as you open Chrome again.
eBay is different: it runs on our servers through eBay's official API, so eBay sales are seen and eBay listings are ended even while your computer is off.
What if an item sells on two sites at once?
It's rare, but it can happen if two people buy within a few minutes of each other. TagSpread emails you and sends a phone alert right away so you can cancel one order before you ship. Pro and Business check for sales more often, which makes it even less likely.
Is crosslisting allowed on these sites?
Every marketplace has its own rules about outside tools, and they change. TagSpread works through your own browser and goes at a normal person's pace, but we can't promise a site won't limit your account. Please read the risks in our Terms of Service before you start.
How is TagSpread different from Vendoo, Crosslist or Nifty?
Some of those tools cover more marketplaces. TagSpread focuses on the five where most clothing resellers sell (Depop, Vinted, Mercari, Poshmark and eBay), has a free plan with automatic delisting, and its Pro plan is $14.99 a month. Crosslist and Nifty start automatic delisting at $39.99 a month, and Vendoo's Starter plan is $14.99 a month with no free plan (prices from their sites, October 2026). If you sell on sites beyond these five, one of them may suit you better.
How do the drafts from photos work?
Add photos to a new item and press Fill in from photos. TagSpread reads the pictures and fills in the title, description, brand, size, color, category and condition, plus any flaws it can spot. It never overwrites anything you've already typed, and nothing is listed until you press List. Free includes 20 drafts a month, Pro 400 and Business 1,500.
Is there a phone app?
Yes. Open TagSpread on your phone and add it to your home screen (Chrome on Android asks you; on iPhone, tap Share then Add to Home Screen in Safari). You can take photos, draft and edit listings, and see sales from your phone. eBay listings go up right away. Depop, Vinted, Mercari and Poshmark list through the Chrome extension, so those go up the next time Chrome is open on your computer.
How do you work out each site's price?
Tell TagSpread what you want to walk away with and it works out the price on each site to cover that site's fees. To keep $40 on Mercari, which takes 10%, it lists at $45. You can try the same math on our free profit calculator.
Can I bring in the listings I already have?
Yes. Import copies your active listings from Depop, Vinted, Mercari or Poshmark into TagSpread, keeps the photos, and can list them on the other sites straight away. It's included on every plan. Importing from eBay isn't available yet, but you can bring eBay or any other stock in from a spreadsheet: export a CSV file (from eBay, another crosslister or your own sheet) and import it under Settings.
How do shipping labels work?
For Depop, Vinted and Mercari, TagSpread downloads the label after a sale and emails it to you. Poshmark already emails you a prepaid label, and eBay labels are bought in eBay as usual, so nothing changes there.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you've paid for, and your listings stay up.
Can I use TagSpread outside the US?
Not yet. Right now it works with US accounts on Depop, Vinted, Mercari, Poshmark and eBay.
